The University received a donation from the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) in USA to equip a lab for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in order to empower the usage of technology information systems in fields such as engineering, development, environmental science and public health. The donation will include the provision of the software “Arc View 9” for the lab. This support is the result of the cooperation between the Regional and Urban Planning Center and ERSI.
