Employees' Union at An-Najah National University held a ceremony for the academic and administrative staff under the auspice of Prof. Rami Hamdallah, University President.  The ceremony was attended by Prof. Hamdallah, Dr. Nizam Najeeb, General Director of the Arab Specialists Hospital, Head and members of the Employees' Union and a number of the administrative and academic staff of the University.

In his remarks, Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the audience and expressed his appreciation of the role of the Union in developing the University and maintaining its distinction and high status.  He insured that An-Najah represents a story of struggle and success that is written by all its members, the Trustees, the administration, the employees, and students.  He highlighted the academic, administrative, and educational achievements of the University.

Mr. Husam Najeeb, Head of the Union, noted the Union’s mission is to strengthen the status of the academic and administrative staff and improve the health insurance project for the benefit of all.  Later, the audience attended dinner at the university cafeteria.  At the end of the ceremony the Traditional Arts Band of the Students Affairs Deanship presented an interlude of national songs and Palestinian dabka performances.
