Between 6^th and 8^th of July, Dr. Samar Musmar, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Graduate Studies and Research at An-Najah University, participated in the 40^th conference for the Society for Academic Primary Care which was held at Bristol University in the UK. Dr. Musmar participated with a research paper titled “The Relationship between Breastfeeding and the Reduction of Infections among Children in the First Six Months: A Cross-sectional Study in the Refugee Camps in Nablus”.

After the conference, a meeting was held to discuss the possibility for helping Palestine develop the “High Specialization in Family Medicine” Program which is offered by the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah through the Palestinian Medial Council. Participants in the meeting included experts and research specialists from the UK and other countries who expressed their readiness to help develop scientific research and train resident physicians in the Family Medicine Program in cooperation with An-Najah University.
