Dr. Saeb Erekat, the head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization's Negotiations Affairs Department and an elected  representative of Jericho in the current Palestinian Legislature, visited the University today.  He met Mr. Salah Al Masri, chair of the University's board of trustees, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the president of the university, and members of the University's board of trustees.  Afterwards Dr. Erekat delivered a lecture in Zafer Al Masri auditorium on the current situation in the Palestinian Territories.  By the end of the lecture Dr. Erekat answered the questions raised by the professors and students concerning the current situation.
