Dr. Hamzeh ALZABADI participated in a highly-selective and fully-sponsored global educational and training program in environmental policy and management from 1^st to 28 July 2012 in the United States. The program was sponsored by the U.S department of State and delivered by Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, USA. During this program, Dr. Hamzeh received training on leadership and environmental conflict resolution and management, training on ground water management, and participated in workshops on the economical perspectives of environmental issues and resources. Dr. Hamzeh also received training on GIS (Geographic Information System), effective communication of complex environmental information as well as on spatial mapping.

During the program, Dr. Hamzeh visited different states (Pennsylvania; Washington DC; Philadelphia; Annapolis, MD; New York City).  In Washington DC, Dr. Hamzeh ALZABADI and the other participants from different Middle East countries met with the Natural Resources Conservation Service of the U.S department of Agriculture where they attended and participated in a discussion regarding water resources management in USA.     Dr. Hamzeh also met and discussed with the Director of Water Protection Division in the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

At the end of the program, Dr. Hamzeh ALZABADI introduced to the program directors and coordinators and other participants some environmental health issues in Palestine focused on water resources management, Environmental Risk Assessment and Management.

Dr. Hamzeh dedicated his participation in this program to Prof. Rami AL Hamdallah, President of An-Najah National University for his support and encouragement, and to Prof. Anwar Dudin, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for his assistance and kind cooperation.
