Dr. Ali Zuhdi Shaqour from the Faculty of Educational Sciences at An-Najah participated in the First International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Education and Training in Hammamet, Tunisia on May 5th-7th 2012. Many researchers and experts from over 20 countries participated in the event and presented their scientific papers. The Conference was organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Science and Culture in cooperation with the Institute of Behavioral Sciences in Tunisia, the Higher Institute of Management and the Virtual University of Tunisia.

The Conference included presentation of scientific papers, lectures, workshops and book exhibition all of which aimed to introduce the participants to the latest updates and challenges that the use of digital equipment and software in Arab educational and training institutions face.

Dr. Shaqour represented An-Najah University as a member of the Conference’s Scientific Committee as well as delivering a lecture in a workshop in which he spoke about Google applications as an applied example of the computer cloud, in addition to another lecture titled “Microsoft Office Applications in the Classroom and the Design of Teaching Materials”.
