Director of the Public Relations Department at the Presidency Office Visits the University

On March 15th 2010, University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, received in his office Mr. Husam Al-Dabbas, General Director of Public Relations at the President Mahmoud Abbas\'s Office in Ramallah. The delegation included Mr. Khaled Al-Sa\'di, Ms. Hana Al-Zghair, and Ms. Ayat Muna.
In the meeting, Prof. Hamdallah emphasized the importance of public relations and spoke about the prospects of joint cooperation in different fields that would develop public relations work in Palestine.
Mr. Dabbas congratulated the President for the impressive ranking that the University recently received by the Webometrics which ranked it first in Palestine and tenth in the Arab world. Mr. Ala Abu Dheer, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department at the University attended the meeting and organized a visit to the New Campus where the delegation had the honor to inaugurate the International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel) Exhibition that was held at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Following this, another meeting was organized between the Public Relations staff at the Presidency Office and the staff of the Public Relations Department at the University in which issues of common interest and joint cooperation were discussed that aim to enhance the work of public relations in Palestine.
