The Department of Tourism and Archeology recently organized a scientific trip to the Samaritan Museum under the supervision of Dr. Ja’far Abahira and Dr. Lu’ay Abo Al Soud.

The students met the priest Husni Al Samira’I who introduced them to the history, culture, traditions, and customs of the Samaritans. Afterwards, he answered a number of questions about the Samaritans and their religion. He also thanked An-Najah University for encouraging the students to visit Mount Gerizim and learn about the Samaritans.
