A delegation from the Italian province of Naples visited An-Najah National University and met Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University President, who welcomed the guests and gave them a brief about the University and its faculties, the different post-graduate programs in addition to the academic awards the university obtained; Prof. Hamdallah mentioned the latest developments the university have done concerning the international cooperation with other academic institutions and universities especially with the Italian ones.

The delegation that consisted of members of Naples Municipality, Academics and the head of the Peace and International Cooperation Office of Napoli Province; expressed their sympathy for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights and showed a lot of interest in continuing the cooperating with the associations of Nablus as well as An-Najah National University that was considered as one of the most important institutions in the Palestinian Territories.

Prof. Hamdallah answered the questions of the delegation who discussed different topics like the academic cooperation and sending An-Najah students to Italy, Prof. Hamdallah mentioned that the university is interested in exchanging students with Italian universities, scholarships and experiences especially in the medical and optical aspects, The Italian delegation thanked the University Administration represented by Prof. Hamdallah and hoped that the cooperation will continue in the near future.
