Under the patronage of An Najah National University’s President Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the Deanship of Students Affairs inaugurated on Tuesday, 10^th of November 2009, the first "Artworks and Handicrafts" exhibition at the University. Among those who attended the exhibition was Dr. Mousa Abu Dayyeh, the Students Affairs Dean, Dr. Assem Hanbali, the Director of the Human Resources Department and a number of other faculties' deans at the University.

The exhibition contained several collections of handicrafts and artworks done by An Najah National University students such as writing on wood, wood artworks, paintings, art photos, embroidery, painted glass and many others. Dr. Abu Dayyeh mentioned that this exhibition comes to support interaction between students and society through artworks and handicrafts.

Samar Muhsen, Coordinator of Non Curriculum Activities in the Students Affairs Deanship, said that the Exhibition includes a number of works that reflect the Palestinian heritage such as the documentary film that was presented in the exhibition.
