Dean of the Faculty of Optometry meets a Greek diplomat in Jerusalem
The Dean of the Faculty of Optometry, met yesterday with Mr. Andreas Karatzas, the Consul of Education and Cultural Division for Middle East and North Africa in the Embassy of Greece in Cairo, and discussed with him the potentials for bilateral cooperation mainly in the fields of scholarships, teaching the Greek language at An-Najah, cultural exchanges and relations with Greek Universities.
Dean of Faculty of Optometry briefed the Greek diplomat about An-Najah: its academic programs, its faculties, its number of students, its scientific centers, and its campuses. She emphasized the influential role that An-Najah plays in the community development through service delivery and capacity building. The Dean of Faculty of Optometry also mentioned the different aspects that make An-Najah unique among other Universities in Palestine. The Dean of Faculty of Optometry reiterated the University’s interest to further boost joint cooperation with Greek government and Greek academic institutions.
