DAAD representative visits the University.

The DAAD academic institution representative in Jerusalem, Dr. Helga Bawmegarten, visited An-Najah and met with the university President Prof. Rami Hamdallah and the Director of the Public Relations Department Mr. Rafe Daraghmeh. They discussed the collaboration between the institution and the university as well as the scholarships the DAAD offers. Prof Hamdallah commended the efforts of Dr. Bawmgarten and the strong relationship between the DAAD and the university.
During her visit, Dr. Bawmgarten met with students who had applied for DAAD scholarships from different faculties of the university. A committee formed of Dr. Bawmgarten, Dr. Ansam Sawalha, Pharmacy Faculty, Dr. Khairi Merei and Dr.Hafez Shaheen, Engineering Faculty, examined the applicants.
Mr. Daraghmeh thanked the DAAD representative for its continued support of An-Najah and the scholarships it offers for both Masters and Doctorate degrees, in addition to short term visits to Germany for university professors and students.
