CURP signs a consultancy contract with a town in Jenin
The University's Center for Urban and Regional Planning (CURP) signed a contact with the Municipality of Selt Alhartheya in the Governorate of Jenin to develop the town's master physical plan. The plan will synthesize issues of transportation, housing, and street design in the town of Selt Alhartheya into an integrated and harmonious system. The CURP was established in 1998 with the aim of analyzing, supervising, linking, controlling and dealing with all issues and problems pertinent to the present and future situation of local, regional, and national planning in Palestine. The CURP has been carrying out a number of activities in the field of urban and regional planning at local, regional and national levels including: preparation of development plans (i.e. master plans, detailed plans, and land subdivision plans).
