CURP participates in Workshop for old cities held in Morocco
In cooperation with The Center for Urban and Regional Planning (CURP), the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden, and the National School for Architecture Engineering at Muhammad the Fifth University in Rebat, Morocco, CURP participated in a workshop organized to protect the heritage of the old cities. The project has been supported by SIDA.
Dr. Ali Abdul Hameed, Director of CURP, and Dr. Iman Al-Amad, Head of the Engineering Department at the University, participated in the workshop. Dr. Abdul Hameed offered a presentation on the architecture development of the old city of Nablus. Dr. Al-Amad presented her paper on renovation projects in the old city of Nablus.
The next workshop will be held at An-Najah National University in Nablus, organized in cooperation with KTH and SIDA.
