The Community Service Centre (CSC) hosted a party for 40 orphans and other children with special needs and social problems. The main aim of the party was to aid integration between normal children and those with special needs, and to raise the children’s spirits through releasing their psychological tension. As a way of raising the children’s self-esteem and self-confidence they were encouraged to organise the party themselves.
CSC Director Mr Sami Alkilani thanked the Palestinian German Association in Germany for sponsoring the orphan children. He also thanked the local community associations that help with the CSC’s charitable projects. The CSC organises many events and projects for the benefit of local people as part of its commitment towards its community. The party program included Palestinian traditional dance, Dabka, and other cultural activities.
