The Community Service Center, CSC, recently launched its website in English and Arabic. The site includes an introduction about the center and a brief summary of each of its projects and initiatives, such as Community Education, Community Service, Housing, Support for the Elderly, Thalassemia, Handicapped, Psychological Support, and the Open Door program. The site also includes a gallery of the activities and events the center has organized as well as guidelines, annual reports, and news.
The CSC was founded in cooperation with McGill University in Canada in 1999. it is just one of many centers within An-Najah National University that aim to serve the local community. Specifically, the goal is to aid limited income citizens in both the social and housing spheres. The center was founded with the goal of helping the community members reach the point where they will find solutions to their problems and meet their needs in a self sufficient manner.
Mr. Sami Alkilani, Director of the CSC, said that the aim of launching the site is to help in the promotion of the center's activities both locally and within the international community.
