The Community Service Centre (CSC) has published a multidisciplinary Sociology book by Professor Naji Alkhateep of the MedFil Humanities Institute in Paris, France. The book is the result of the on-going cooperation – supported by the French Government – between the two institutions. The culmination of this cooperation has been the establishment of the Social Training Unit, which provides training courses in Sociology.
Prof Alkhateep’s book examines the importance of Social Studies and Sociology for the local community, and Arab communities in general, and the need for more Sociology graduates, to work in academic institutions and to meet the demand for scientific research.
