Conference on Electronic Commerce
Representatives of local associations and the private sector participated in a conference opened with words from Professor Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs. He affirmed the need for economic development as a basic goal for every society, particularly societies which are enduring hard living conditions. Professor Natsheh called for more cooperation between the private and public sectors, which play an important role in social development.
Conferring members of the conference asserted the importance of investment in research and development as a significant element of economic development, especially in the field of technology. They suggested that research and development in technology will help in marketing and development, in addition to training teachers to cope with the current developments in education and in using new technologies.
Some of the papers presented included: the impact of effective teaching strategies for achieving successful knowledge management; and sectoral distribution of Islamic banks`s investment in Palestine.
