In cooperation with the United Nations Volunteers Office in Jerusalem, and within the United Nations' International Campaign, the Community Service Center organized a campaign on the 9^th of December 2009, to collect signatures from An Najah National University students.

A petition was circulated calling for the world leaders’ meeting in Copenhagen to pay serious attention to environmental issues and the immediate actions that should be carried out to protect our planet against the damages and other threats that resulted from the limited concern about the environment worldwide.

Hundreds of students participated in signing the petition which was sent to the United Nations' Office and various environment-related voluntary activities were carried out that included cleaning several parks and gardens in Nablus in cooperation with Nablus Municipality and the Directorate of Antiques in the city.
