On Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015the Scholarships Office at An-Najah hosted officials from the British Council to talk about the different scholarship which the British Council offers to interested students and staff members.

Mrs Naden Jarrar first talked about the IELTS exam which is an entry requirement for British universities and said that the British Council has signed an agreement with An-Najah to allow students to take the exam on its campus in Nablus.

Mrs Merna Kassis then briefed the students about the HESPAL scholarships for Masters and PhD on which 6-10 students from An-Najah study in the UK every year. Mrs Kassis explained the requirements, the financial coverage and the application process.

Mrs Kassis also talked about other scholarships such The Said Foundation Scholarships and the Durham-Palestine Fund scholarships.

Afterwrds, Mrs Jarrar, Mrs Kassis and Dr.Rasha Khayyat took questions from the attendants.
