Arab Scout Ambassador visits An-Najah
On Sunday 4 April Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, received the Arab Scout Ambassador, Chief Behussein Al-Kharrad.
Prof. Natsheh welcomed the Ambassador to An-Najah and commended him for the noble message he is spreading to all Arab countries, a message of peace and love. He briefed the Moroccan Scout Ambassador on An-Najah‘s history, relations and scientific cooperation with Moroccan Universities, in place since the establishment of An-Najah as a school back in 1918.
In turn, Ambassador Al- Kharrad thanked Prof. Natsheh for receiving him, stressing the fact that for him this is a remarkable visit to one of Palestine’s and the Arab World’s leading scientific institutions. He added that he is honored to be at An-Najah whose scout group was among the first 5 scout groups to be established in Palestine.
At the end of the meeting Professor Natsheh wrote An-Najah’s message in the Golden Book that holds messages from the 13 countries the Ambassador had visited prior to Palestine.
