An-Najah’s Research Journal in both Humanities and Sciences has registered to obtain an online International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). The hard copies will also be given serial numbers.

Dr. Hikmat Hilal, Dean of Scientific Research at An-Najah, stated the desire of the Deans was to make research global, using things like these journals, through the online medium, to raise the profile of the work undertaken by the various Faculties at An-Najah. In addition, he hoped these journals could be used at international events and that they could attract future international guest editors.

Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, congratulated the Deanship of Scientific Research for the great efforts in advancing the scientific research capabilities of the University, allowing them to reach a regional and internationally recognised standard. He stated the University’s academic philosophy has always been based on research, focusing on the fields of humanities, sciences, applied sciences and electronic learning. By registering with the ISSN this is another step in furthering An-Najah academic excellence and recognition of that excellence.
