An-Najah University Signs a Joint Educational Academic Agreement with Al-Qasimi Academy
On May 23rd, An-Najah University, represented by its President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, signed a joint educational academic agreement with Al-Qasimi Academy in Baqa Al-Gharbiyye in Haifa, northern Palestine; the Academy was represented by its President, Dr. Muhammad Al-Esawi. Attendees also included Prof. Maher Abu Eid, An-Najah Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Atef Salameh, Dean of the Faculty of Media, and Dr. Sam Alfoqahaa, Director of the Public Relations Department.

Prior to the signing of the agreement Prof. Hamdallah received the guest in his office at the Old Campus where he discussed with Dr. Al-Esawi the expected cooperation with the Academy and emphasized that the University will work on strengthening and supporting higher education both in the different parts of the country.
A short film was presented to the guest that described the University’s history and development, as well as the academic programs it offers and the scientific centers it has which provide the local society with a variety of services in a wide array of fields.
Dr. Al-Esawi expressed happiness to sign the agreement with An-Najah describing it as a big step for the Academy since it gives it the chance to work with a major university as An-Najah.
According to this agreement, the two institutions will exchange teachers, provide facilitation to researchers from both sides, encourage faculty staff from both institutions to participate in workshops and lectures organized at the University and the Academy, exchange expertise regarding curricula and study plans preparation, in addition to encouraging student exchange, cooperation with respect to joint graduation projects, as well as the activation of educational and academic programs in the field of teachers’ training and development
Based on the agreement also will be committed to the facilitation of joint scientific research, exchanging expertise in evaluating graduation projects and exchanging experience in the field of e-learning.
