On April 11^th, An-Najah University represented by Dr. Maher Abu Zant, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, participated in the annual conference for the Deans of the Faculties of Arts in the Arab world which was held at the Zarqa Private University in Jordan. Attendees included deans of the faculties of arts from the various Arab and Palestinian universities.

Dr. Abu Zant spoke about the Faculty of Arts at An-Najah and explained the developmental plan it adopts which aim to address the different issues in the society through training human resources to work in the different fields of life. He also presented the work mechanism at the Faculty which concentrates on improving the quality of higher education.

The participants agreed on the importance of establishing joint cooperation between the different Arab universities with respect to various related issues such as the supervision of Master theses and others.
