An-Najah University participates in Tempus-UNAM Conference in Amman
On Sunday, October 6th, 2013, a team from An-Najah University participated in a conference on the Tempus-UNAM project at the Millennium Hotel in Amman. The project is funded by the European Union and works to develop the universities’ Finance Departments. Rashid Al-Kukhun, the Director of the Finance Department; Emad Breek, the Tempus Project Coordinator at the university; Dr. Sameh Atout, Faculty of Graduate Studies; Rana Habash; Fidaa JadAllah; and Emad Al-Sal’ous represented An-Najah at the conference.
The conference was attended by representatives of several Arab and foreign universities. Dr. Atout presented a paper on “The Fundamentals of Comptrollers in Higher Education Institutions in Palestine”.
The Tempus-UNAM project seeks to develop financial sustainability and autonomy in higher education institutions and to establish a union of Arab and European universities for networking and cooperation.
