An-Najah University and the Scientific Foundation of Hisham Adeeb Hijjawi Honor Mr. Naser Aloul
Mr. Naser Aloul, Secretary General of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, was honored at the College in a celebration that was organized by An-Najah University and the Scientific Foundation of Hisham Adeeb Hijjawi. Attendees included: Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah, Brigadier Jibrin Al-Bakri, Governor of Nablus, Engineer Adli Yaish, Mayor of Nablus, Dr. Shaker Bitar, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College, in addition to official figures and employees from the College.
In the celebration, Prof. Hamdallah delivered a speech in which he thanked Mr. Aloul for his work in the College over the past 17 years during which he contributed to the building, establishment, preparation and design of study plans and training. He also addressed his dedication, persistence and hard work to achieve the objectives of the College.
Prof. Hamdallah also spoke about his relation to Mr. Aloul which started in 1998 when the former became the President of An-Najah University. He said Mr. Aloul has worked with Mr. Ayman Hisham Hijjawi on translating the Deceased Hisham Adeeb Hijjawi’s idea of a technology college that meets the needs of young people with respect to education and training. Mr. Aloul has played a major role in bringing this dream to life through his work with the University.
Mr. Aloul’s relations with donors around the world have had a substantial impact on the College such as the German Government which has equipped the College the required devices needed for mechanical tests.
Furthermore, the President said that Mr. Aloul has contributed to the design of plans and specifications, and providing several scholarships for the College and the required equipment that helped develop the human resources in the College. He also established some unique relationships and networking with many institutions on the local and international levels.
Engineer Yaish spoke about the cooperation that the Municipality had with the College during the period when Mr. Aloul served as the Secretary-General at the College. He also emphasized the substantial role of the College in producing qualified individuals in various fields.
Dr. Bitar delivered a speech on behalf of Mr. Ayman Hijjawi in which he described the long years during which Mr. Aloul has worked at the College which led it to make numerous successes. He also wished Mr. Aloul all success in his new post at Al-Ta’awon Institution.
Mr. Salah Abu Zahra delivered a speech on behalf of the employees at the College in which he conveyed the relationships that the employees had with Mr. Aloul during his work at the College. His work and contribution to the development of the College was unmatched.
Mr. Aloul has been a guide to the students and has shown continuous concern with their issues and needs.
The College which Mr. Aloul has long supported has produced qualified experts in different fields of life and has enabled its graduates to occupy leading positions in the country’s various companies and institutions.
During the celebration a presentation was screened which summarized Mr. Aloul’s years of work. He was also honored by the University President, Nablus Mayor and the College’s staff.
Mr. Aloul thanked the University, the staff at Hijjawi College and all the institutions working in Nablus for the celebration and their support.
