Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah University, and Dr. Robert Machinelle, the representative of Lancaster University, renewed their previous cooperation agreement to include a new PhD program in Physics at An-Najah.

 

The British Consul, Vincent Fean, expressed his pleasure to build a relationship with An-Najah University which is well known for its educational status as well as its distinctive contribution to the Palestinian community. He also presented his support to Prof. Hamdallah and the administration board of An-Najah and reassured the Consulate’s support to the University. He also offered different plans to help An-Najah interact with the different universities in the UK as well as explaining future plans which would help reinforce the relationship between the British and Palestinians at the educational level.

 

Prof. Hamdallah expressed his pleasure to renew the agreement with Lancaster University which is considered one of the leading British universities in physics, and among the top ten universities in the UK.  Prof.Hamdallah considered this agreement a step to build a better relationship between the British and the Palestinians, as well as its anticipated role in opening an exchange student program in the future.

 

An- Najah University is the only university in Palestine that offers PhD programs in addition to 74 undergraduate programs (majors), and up to 44 graduate programs.
