An-Najah Sings a Cooperation Agreement with the Maykop State Technological University in Russia
April 6th. Based on its vision to maintain contact with the different universities around the world and build joint cooperation relationships and scientific exchange with the different higher education institutions globally, An-Najah National University signed a cooperation agreement with Maykop State Technological University in Russia. The agreement aims to join efforts in scientific research in the field of humanities, economic and technical science for the good of Palestine and Russia and to strengthen friendship and collaboration between the two countries.
According to this agreement which was signed by Maykop University Chief Executive Khazret Ramazanovich Bliagoz being the first party, and An-Najah University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah being the second party, effective staff training will be facilitated in addition to supporting scientific research in the field of humanities and economic science and strengthening friendship and collaboration between both universities.
Additionally, in accordance with the agreement, the two parties shall exercise mutual exchange of the curriculum, programs and other teaching materials, educational literature, information related to major educational, methodological, scientific and cultural fields. Also, organize training of the teaching staff, graduates and research associates of the departments at both universities.
According to the agreement also, the two universities shall send qualified lecturers to deliver lectures to students of both sides, facilitate professional development of teaching instructors and preparation of trainees for abroad training, carry on scientific research, scientific-practical conferences, seminars, in addition to other issues.
Commenting on this agreement, Prof. Hamdallah said An-Najah University works within a philosophy that is based on opening new prospects of cooperation with the different educational institutions around the world for the purpose of communicating with others and keeping in touch with the latest developments in the field of education.
Professor Yahya Jaber, Professor of Linguistics at An-Najah University, praised the efforts that Dr. Omar Mahameed, Member of the Palestinian-Russian Society and the Preparatory Committee of the 4th International Translation Conference, exerted to prepare for the signing
