An-Najah Signs a General Collaboration Agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents for and on Behalf of Arizona State University in the US
As part of its efforts to maintain communication and contact with the different higher education institutions around the world and reinforce cooperation relationships with regional and international bodies, An-Najah University signed a general collaboration agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf of Arizona State University (ASU) in the United States.
The agreement which was signed by Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah University, and Professor Michael Crow, President of Arizona State University (ASU), serves as a general framework for cooperation between the two institutions and is intended to facilitate the development of specific bilateral programs of collaboration.
According to the agreement, both institutions agree to explore the development of research programs and projects. Areas initially identified where An-Najah and ASU have complementary and synergistic strengths, capabilities and competitive advantages include: Water treatment, sanitation and management, environmental technology, sustainable infrastructure development, international development and sustainability, education and teacher training.
Additionally, the two parties agree to explore the development of undergraduate and graduate programs, exchange information in the fields of interest to both institutions, explore the joint organization of advanced research workshops, develop curriculum collaboration with relevant instructional departments and educators, explore opportunities for faculty and student exchange, studies and research, mutually lend advice, technical support and services, as well as identify other areas of possible interest and collaboration.
