An-Najah National University signed in a cooperation academic agreement with the University of Coimbra in Portugal.  The agreement consists of establishing joint programs in the domains of students' exchange, teaching and academic staff exchange, and joint participation in seminars, colloquious, and conferences.  The two Universities also agreed to launch cooperation programs in the framework of joint research activities and cultural exchange projects. Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University's president, expressed his pleasure to sign the said agreement, stating: "It is an academic and scientific reference that contributes to enhance the international dimension of An-Najah's academic mission." According to the University of Coimbra's website it is an indisputable reference in higher education and research in Portugal, due to the quality of the courses taught at its eight Faculties and to the advances achieved in pure and applied research in various areas of knowledge.
