An-Najah's students of the Faculty of Human Medicine participated in the extensive summer course on injection and swine flu which took place in Belgium from 9-15 July 2009.  Students Hisham Hussein and Ahmad Awad attended the summer course.   The course was organized by the Center of Injection in Antorub University in Belgium in cooperation with World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Union.

The participants in the summer course had an extensive training on injection and swine flu by several specialists which included technical and practical training on how to handle injection appropriately and how to deal with patients and emergencies.
Representative of WHO in Belgium gave a specail lecture on National Injection Program in the EU countries. It is worth mentioning that Palestine was the only Arab country participating among the 22 European countries.
