On Friday, March 20, 2015, An-Najah participated in the sixth Lancet-Palestinian Health Alliance Conference (LPHA). The conference was organized by the Community and Public Health Institute at Birzeit University, the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University at Beirut and Lancet Magazine.

Dr. Amira Shaheen, from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah, gave a presentation on determinants of neonatal mortality in the Northern West Bank. In turn, Dr. Rasha Khayyat, from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at An-Najah, talked about her research entitled "Assessment of the Hygiene Related Risks on Child Illness at Selected Elementary Schools in Nablus City". Both presentations addressed the Palestinians' health (at Palestine and Diaspora this part is confusing) where psychological, chronic and infectious diseases were discussed.
