Mr. Ayman Nimir, the director of An-Najah Radio Station, had successfully participated in the conference on "Media's role in conflict countries," which was organized by Orebro University in Sweden from 24–26 March, 2008.   About 75 journalists from state-run and private media from throughout the world participated in the conference's workshops.  The purpose of the conference was to share the latest developments and research on media's role in conflict contexts.  Mr. Nimir participated in the conference with a lecture under the title “Media in the Palestinian Territories” which highlighted the challenges facing media in Palestine.
