An-Najah Organizes Two Workshops on the Green Buildings Project 2015
On Thursday, August 27, 2015An-Najah held two workshops for the Green Buildings project 2015.
The workshops were given by Dr. Christine Parrish from Arizona State University and were held at the Faculty of Engineering in the New Campus.
In the first workshop, Dr. Parrish presented on environmentally friendly buildings designs, where she gave examples of the Arizona State University’s experience in the field.
In the second workshop, Dr. Parrish presented on computerized simulation, project management and best practices in energy and resources preservation for second-year architectural engineering students where she talked about the US experience in that particular field.

- Dr. Parrish also attended the Green Buildings Forum which was held at An-Najah.
- The workshops were attended by 80 students from the Faculty of Engineering.
- The green buildings project has been organized and executed by Ms. Alia Gilbrecht, Coordinator of the International Office’s American Corner, Dr. Mutasim Baba, Director the Construction and Transportation Research Center, Dr. Sameh Mena and Dr. Muhannad Hajj.
