On Tuesday, August 11th, 2015, and under the patronage of Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, An-Najah Child Institute organized a workshop on special educational needs and inclusion at the conference room, the New Campus.

The workshop shed light on special educational needs and inclusion in England, inclusive practice in Palestine and the challenges and barriers that encounter the inclusion process.

Dr. Zaher Nazzal, Director of An-Najah's Child Institute presented on the institute's roles, objectives and services. He added that the workshop aims at discussing the obstacles that encounter inclusion in Palestine.

Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President of Academic Affairs mentioned that "children with special needs" is a vital issue worldwide and An-Najah is doing its best to diminish discrimination against them as it executes inclusion.

-          The workshop was held in cooperation with the Cooperation Foundation.

-          The workshop was also attended by specialists from CCCU and representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education, UN, Ministry of Community Affairs, Doctors without Borders and others.
