On behalf of An-Najah National University, I extend our condolences on the death of Mr. Salah H. Al Masri. He will be sorely missed by many friends and colleagues.  We at An-Najah admired Mr. Al Masri for his generous service as our University’s Chair of Board of Trustees since 2000. He was a man of great generosity.  An-Najah has lost one of its most articulate leaders and passionate supporters.  On a personal note, I am grateful to Mr. Al Masri for the wise counsel and encouragement he offered me at various stages in my service as President of An-Najah National University. I will miss him very much. Our University is deeply shaken by the loss of a highly respected colleague and beloved friend and brother.

We are deeply saddened by the death of Mr. Salah H. Al Masri. We had the pleasure of knowing him for many years. He was a man of great vision who strengthened the life and mission of An-Najah National University as leader in higher education in Palestine. His death is a great loss for our University and the higher education community in Palestine and Arab World. He has done many great things for An-Najah and he will be very much missed by the members of the University Board of Trustees.  Mr. Al Masri was a true role model of leadership, integrity and achievement.  We send our thoughts and prayers to Mr. Al Masri's family and to An-Najah’s administration, students, faculty, staff and alumni. We will miss his wisdom and grace.
