An-Najah National University Receives the International Award for the Development of Urban Spaces in Birzeit Town

On May 5th, An-Najah National University in Nablus, represented by its Architectural Engineering Department, received the International Award for the Development of Urban Spaces in Birzeit Town which was organized by Riwaq Center for Architectural Conservation in Palestine.
Dr. Haitham Ratrout, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department at An-Najah, said the University received the second award since no one qualified for the first award and added that a group of the Department’s students applied to the Award and eventually won it; those included: Hiba Daraghmeh, Aseel Kittaneh, Abeer Jawabreh, Obada Ghazal and Sami Bustami.
An-Najah University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, congratulated the Faculty of Engineering and its Architectural Engineering Department in addition to its training staff on this great achievement. He added that the University is proud of its students and impressed by the success they were able to make and wished them more success and further achievements.
