An-Najah National University, represented by its Director of Libraries, Mr. Hani Jaber, and at the invitation of the Saudi systems, participated in a two- day workshop on the Company’s databases from 7 to 8 November2013. Deans and library directors were introduced to the seven various Company databases.

Three new bases were presented in the workshop: the base of humanities, Arab university research, and the cited reference base (Impact Factor), which is the first important Arab base dealing with this field, which will have an echo in higher scientific research using Arab journals; all of the participants in this workshop were very enthusiastic about this database and encouraged its use.

The number of participants amounted to 66 deans and library directors representing the different Arab states, in addition to a representative from Turkey.
