An-Najah Mourns the Loss of Mrs. Muna Thaher, an Instructor at the Language Center
An-Najah National University's mourns the loss of Mrs. Muna Thaher, an instructor at the University's Language Center, who passed away yesterday's evening in Tulkarem. Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University President, expressed his deep grief for the sudden death of the deceased, and he has sent his sincerest and deepest condolences to Mrs. Thaher's family. President Hamdallah said that the University has lost a dear colleague who was distinguished with her persistence in the service of the University and its students commuinity.
The funeral of the deceased took place yesterday's evening in Falamya town in Qalqilia, in which a delegation of the University represented by Prof. Hamdallah, a number of deans, heads of departments, members of academic and administrative staff and students of the University attended the funeral.
Mrs. Thaher was born in Tulkarem in 1960, and she finished her high school education in 1979. She graduated from An-Najah National University in 1983 with a B.A. degree in English Language. Following that she worked at the University as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the English Department. She received her MA degree in English Language from Arizona State University in USA in 1987. Since then she worked as an Instructor at the English Department of An-Najah. In 2004 she moved to work at the Language Center of An-Najah.
