An-Najah hosts “PIXPIC”, a photo exhibit
On Tuesday 18 March An-Najah University hosted the photo exhibit entitled “PIXPIC” for the Palestinian photographers Arkan Al-Aghbar and Mohammad Dweik, in cooperation with the Faculty of Fine Arts and supported by Sniper Company-Nablus.
Visitors to the exhibit were treated to photos charting the diverse life in Nablus and Jerusalem and the city of Istanbul in Turkey in addition to photos of high technical ability using various photographic techniques.
Dr. Ghawi said that:
“We, in the Faculty of Fine Arts, encourage and support holding these kinds of exhibitions, as they foster students’ accomplishment of their goals; and An-Najah supports extracurricular activities for students”.
And finally, Al-Aghbar and Dweik expressed their thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the exhibition.

- The opening ceremony was attended by: Dr. Ghawi Ghawi, Dean of Fine Arts; Sami Issawi, Head of Applied Arts; Ahmad Al-Hajj Hamad, Coordinator of the Cultural Committee; the photographers Mohammad Dweik and Arkan Al-Aghbar; and a number of staff members and students.
- Mohammad Dweik and Arkan Al-Aghbar are Graphic Design students at An-Najah.
- The exhibition ended on Wednesday 19 March.
