An-Najah Holds an Open Discussion Meeting for Its 2016-2020 Strategic Plan
On Wednesday, April 22, 2015 An-Najah held an open discussion meeting to discuss its Strategic Plan for the years 2016-2020, which was attended by representatives of different academic and administrative departments as well as the twelve Strategic Planning Committees.
In the meeting, there was a wide range of subjects prepared by the committees over the past six months. The twelve committees' organizers introduced An-Najah's priorities on the academic, administrative, research and community service levels. They also discussed An-Najah's supportive issues such as information technology, rules and regulations, and the local and international crowd.
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, assured that An-Najah's administration is doing its best to take advantage of all the resources and efforts to achieve its strategic objectives. He also commended An-Najah's wide contribution in the meeting.
The attendees were distributed into nine groups to elect and discuss the most important issues related to An-Najah's strategic plans for the coming years. The elected issues reflected An-Najah's vision and priorities which will be shaped as an applied project.
Professor Sameer Abu Eisheh, Minister of Planning, and Acting Minister of Education and Eng., Suleiman Da'efi, presented the process of developing these issues into main strategic objectives to derive minor objectives. The objectives will be developed into projects and the outcomes will be evaluated. The projects will be executed step-by-step and An-Najah's staff will be working on accomplishing them.
