On Thursday, October 22^nd, 2015 the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at An-Najah held a workshop on using the Japanese art of origami to activate the educational process.

The workshop which was given by Dr. Waleed Basha, Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at an-Najah and origami expert, was attended by a number of teachers and students from local schools. The workshop introduced the ancient art to the attendants and how the different shapes and designs can be used to enrich lessons in the different subjects.

-         Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures.
