An-Najah concludes Scientific Innovation Contest
On Wednesday 30 April the Arab Innovation Network, in cooperation with An-Najah’s Innovation and Industrial Partnership Center, held a ceremony honoring the winners of the “Ein” Innovation contest.
Earlier on, the participating projects were evaluated according to the standards of Innovation set by An-Najah’s aforementioned center in 3 fields namely: engineering; environment; and health.
Dr. Yahia Saleh, Head of An-Najah’s Innovation and Industrial Partnership Center and Head of the Evaluation Committee for the participating projects, stressed the significance of students participation in scientific contests such as this. He stated that they contribute to reinforcing their creativity. He also commended the efforts of the participating students who made it a strong competition.
In the same context, student Jihad Shamlouli, Arab Innovation Network representative, presented the winning student group with the competition award, airline tickets and a stay in the United Arab Emirates. During their stay they will compete on a regional level in the final stage of the Arab Innovation Network Conference next September.

1- The Evaluation Committee also consisted of Dr. Aysar Yassin, from the Department of Energy and Environment Engineering, and Mr. Adel Juadi, from Mechanical Engineering.
2- The winning student group consisted of Mechanical Engineering students: Aseel Qaffaf, Raya Bsharat, Hiba Qasrawi, and Wisal Khdeirat.
