An-Najah National University granted the graduation certificates for 1900 students in three graduation ceremonies organized in the old campus on the 15th-17th June, 2005, students graduated from 59 bachelor degree programs and 31 masters programs.
Prime Minister, Ahmad Quri`, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Naim Abu Hummus, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Salah Masri and Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University President granted the students the certificates of their graduation, Quri`, spoke about the importance of Education for the Palestinian community, he passed on the occasion of the commencement, Mahmud Abbas`s, President of the Palestinian National Authority, greetings and congratulations to the University and its graduated students, he congratulated the graduates and highly appreciated the University community for its progressive role in its educational mission, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees spoke about the new campus that the university will open in order to offer the best facilities for the increasing number of students.
The University President spoke about the different projects the University is running and the international cooperation projects, the University has signed with European universities. The Prime Minister and eight Ministers of the Palestinian government participated in the ceremony as well as the Heads of the local associations and the Palestinian non governmental organizations, consuls and representatives of different countries joined the festival too.
