An-Najah and the University Center for Euro-Mediterranean Studies sign an agreement of collaboration
An-Najah National University and the University Center for Euro-Mediterranean Studies (Center EMUNI) in the Republic of Slovenia signed an agreement of collaboration which could have an impact on promoting the Euro-Mediterranean higher education landscape. The partnership between An-Najah and Center EMUNI will see them cooperating in a wide range of areas covering research and higher education.
The agreement was signed today in Ramallah by President Rami Hamdallah and Dr. Nada Trunk Sirca, director of Center EMUNI. The initial objective is to promote cooperation with regard to the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean University with its seat in the Republic of Slovenia. Collaboration between An-Najah and Center EMUNI will also include the establishment of new cooperative research programs and joint study programs in the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean University.
“We want to enhance the objectives of Euro-Mediterranean academic cooperation," said President Hamdallah. “This agreement extends the potentials of two leading academic institutions to provide major research opportunities to the benefit of the for Euro-Mediterranean nations,” President Hamdallah noted. This cooperation agreement with the Center EMUNI marks An-Najah continued success at gaining a highly renowned academic institution in the world as a partner, and at further expanding its international network.
