An-Najah Achieves Great Success in Tai Kwon Do

An-Najah recently achieved a sporting success in Algeria, in the tenth Arab Tai kwon do championship in which Rami Abu Hawila from the University Tai kwon do team won a silver medal.
Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Haj, the team trainer, said that Rami’s win came as a result of the dedication and hard work he had put into it. Al-Haj added that this was not the first of the An Najah team’s successes, recalling previous outstanding performances in competitions such as the Universities Championship in Korea in 2003 and the Jordan River Championship in 2004.
Abu Hawila thanked everyone who had supported him, especially the University Administration which supports all the sports activities. He went on to express the hope that the political situation in the region would become easier so that Palestinian sport can move forward in future. He also thanked the Palestinian Ambassador in Algeria, Mr. Munther Dajani, who took good care of the Palestinian delegation during the championship.
