An activity was held today in coordination between the University's Poison Control and Drug Information Center, the Red Crescent Society and the Community Service Center.  The activity took place in the Older Citizens Home in Nablus.  Speakers at the activity talked about the importance of the communication with community institutions especially those that present services to older people and those with special needs about poison control and prevention.

Dr. Ansam Sawalhah, Director of the Center, pointed out that communication with older people is an obligation and that holding such activities enhances volunteering spirit among the students.  She said it is an excellent educational method to train students to review medications and checking any drugs interactions based on the drug interactions base that is available at the Center which is part of its daily work.
