Agreement for Academic, Scientific and Cultural Co-operation with Seville University
An Agreement was signed between the University, represented by Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University President, and Prof. Miguel Florencio Lora, Associate Professor of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Seville. The agreement highlights the following: The subscribing universities agree to exchange their experiences and personnel in the areas of teaching, research, and culture, within the fields in which they have a manifest interest. Both parties agreed to develop annual programs of scientific and cultural exchange that will include: development of joint research projects; programs to carry out postgraduate studies or research; exchange of professors, researchers or fellows; exchanging of information concerning their organization, structure and operations; the development of annual programs, offering courses, seminars and symposia; and the exchanging of bibliographical material and editions. The agreement will last for three years and could be renewed.
An-Najah College of Education Sciences will conduct research on the psychological problems facing Palestinian school students and the violence phenomenon, as the first joint project between both universities. Another project of exchanging information and ideas between both universities students via the internet will also be launched.
