A Training Course on Seismic Design is Successfully Concluded at the University
June 7th. A special course on seismic design of buildings successfully graduated a new class of Civil Engineering and Building Engineering graduate students at An-Najah University; more than 44 students took part in the course. The graduation celebration was attended by Engineer Ahmed Adili, Chief of Engineers, and Dr. Jalal Dabbeek, Director of the Earth Sciences and Seismic Engineering Center (ESSEC) at the University.
In his speech Dr. Dabbeek welcomed Engineer Adili and his accompanying delegation and emphasized the close relationship that the Faculty of Engineering and theESSEC hold with the Engineering Association. He also described the Association’s leading role and contribution to the field of engineering.
Engineer Adili thanked the University represented by the ESSEC for their continuous cooperation and interest in holding such courses which would seek to develop engineering work among fresh engineers so that they would be ready to join the work field.
Moreover, he described the Association’s different projects including the training programs and the various loans programs. He also encouraged fresh graduates to continuously contact the Engineering Association in order to benefit from the programs and projects it offers to them.
