The University's Center for Democracy and Human Rights, in cooperation with the Palestinian Central Elections Commission, inaugurated a training course in elections monitoring and civil society in Palestine.  Participants attending the training course come from different civil soceity associations and academic institutions in the North of the <st1:place w:st="on">West Bank</st1:place>.  Mr. Samir Aqroq, director of the Center, indicated that the training course is an integral component of the wider University's mission to expand the international standards and principles of election administration and values of civil soceity in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Palestine</st1:place></st1:city>.<o:p></o:p>
